In this episode of the Brush, Nick meets veteran master painter, Dan Ross.
Dan hails from the San Francisco Bay Area and his company, Ross Painting, has been in business since 1972.
Naturally, Dan has a great wealth of experience and he shares much of it with Nick during their conversation. Dan talks about starting out the right way, mindful growth, Dan’s formula for hiring the best people, lessons learned (what not to do), setting and meeting employee expectations, and projecting out.
As Dan states, “Being the best painter is not all that there is – if you can’t stay in business, being the best painter doesn’t mean anything. You really have to get your business life in order.”
